Proper cleaning of your septic tank is an important step in ensuring a long lasting and trouble free septic system.
Modern septic tanks have 2 compartments and are equipped with an effluent filter on the outlet side of the tank. We will clean the filter at the time of the tank pumping as part of the process. We are also very familiar with older style tanks as well , so you can be assured a proper and correct service will be provided.
We will do a visual inspection of the baffles and also check for any cracks in the septic tank.
Most septic tanks in Connecticut are buried under the surface and require hand digging with a shovel for access. For a small fee we can provide this service as well. We take pride in our work and always try to replace the sod neatly back on top to show minimal disturbance.
The Connecticut public health code states that all new and existing septic tanks exceeding 12 inches below grade must be retrofitted with a man hole riser. We can provide this service to you as well.
Garbage disposals are never recommended with a septic system.
Grease and heavy papers such as baby wipes should never be put into a septic system.
We are available year round.
